Steve brings the perspective of having played professionally, enabling a unique connection with JBA athletes. He played outfield in the Colorado Rockies minor league system and with several independent teams. Steve attended Grossmont College and San Diego State, and during his playing career, he played under legendary San Diego coaches Ed Olson and Tony Gwynn. Steve is an MLBPA Certified Agent. His role as a Client Manager includes client maintenance, scouting, overseeing the equipment contracts, as well as developing relationships with current and prospective clients.

Taylor provides support for both the professional and personal needs of JBA clients. She is an integral member of the JBA Sports team and oversees day-to-day operations of the office; managing contracts, endorsements, finances, appearances, etc. She coordinates travel and events for the JBA team and clients. She is a MLBPA Certified Agent, and works closely with all other staff to ensure that JBA’s client services are beyond compare. Taylor is originally from Kansas City and is a graduate of Emporia State University. She has been with JBA since 2013.

As a MLBPA Limited Certified Agent, Anthony’s role in the recruitment of future JBA players is essential. A former standout amateur athlete at USDHS in both baseball and basketball, and a career concluding with the SD SurfDawgs. Anthony has gathered a unique understanding of the amateur landscape over the last 20 years. As a Coach for some of Southern California’s most talented young ballplayers with the San Diego Show and Cathedral Catholic HS, he has had the opportunity to give his tutelage to numerous pro and college baseball players.

Joining forces to assist in the recruitment of new players as an MLBPA Limited Certified Agent, Dan brings a wealth of baseball knowledge and experience to the JBA team. After a successful playing career at UCLA, Dan went on to play minor league ball in the Boston Red Sox organization. Wanting to make a positive impact on the careers of athletes, both on and off the field, Dan’s interests led him to athlete representation. Utilizing his experience and passion for the game, Dan serves as an additional resource for JBA clients.

Jeff served as Assistant General Counsel for the MLBPA from 2000 through 2010. In that role, Jeff represented MLB players in all areas of collective bargaining. At the MLBPA, Jeff played an active role in the development and preparation of hundreds of salary arbitration cases, and he appeared as an Association representative in well over 50 salary arbitration hearings. In 2010, Jeff established a private consulting practice where he continues to advise baseball players and their agents.

Stephanie brings years of experience in Concierge Services to add to the client experience of each JBA ballplayer. As the daughter of HOF player, Rod Carew, Stephanie was raised in the sports industry. It gave her the understanding to know what these athletes are challenged with on a day-to-day basis. Stephanie assists clients with their personal travel arrangements, permanent and temporary relocation, community engagement, enhancing players’ personal time away from the field, and all other personal and family concerns.
